TRADESHOW DMA 2004
Dutch Masters Amsterdam

The third leg of the Millennium Series gets one of the largest paintball trade shows in Europe.

On the 4th, 5th and 6th June Amsterdam will be hosting the third leg of the Millennium Series: the Dutch Masters Amsterdam 2004!

More than 130 teams from all around the World will come to the funcapitol of Europe for a weekend filled with paintball of the highest level of quality.

After the huge succes of last year the third edition of the DMA will be bigger than before. A new and bigger tournamentsite, more fields, more teams and more spectators.

The majority of teams will compete in the 7-man championship in three different divisions on six different fields. Besides the 7-man format the DMA is also hosting the second leg of the European Xball™ League (EXL) and a
Open Xball™ competition for a total of 16 teams. That means that there will be around 1,500 players roaming the tournamentsite.

And not the least of teams. Europe’s topteams like Nexus, Russian Legion, Ton Ton and Joy Division will be playing in the EXL™. American big names like Baltimore Trauma, Dynasty and Miami Effect will go head to head in the Open Xball™ competition together with internationally known Euros and even an Auzzie team. And in the 7-man competition it’s no different. There are teams from Germany, the UK, France, Belgium, Scandinavia, Poland and
Spain.

But not only the players get some serious ballin’! Right next to the entrance a complete five man field will be set up by Paintball Jungle to give each visitor the chance to experience the thrill of tournament paintball! This will introduce new people to paintball and is sure to attract a lot of visitors to the DMA.

One of the biggest efforts this year is to promote the event in a big way. Not only to the paintballcommunity, but also to the Dutch public. All the Dutch media (newspapers, local and national TV and radiostations, etc.) have
received a presskit containing information about paintball, the Millennium Series, Xball en the Dutch Masters Amsterdam. Happy Radio, a local Amsterdam radiostation will promote the DMA in the weeks prior to the event.
In the coming weeks the paintballcoimmunity will reguraly receive news updates about the Dutch Masters thru press releases and email newsletters. The website of the event, www.dma2004.com, will also be updated with the
latest info.

Trade show…. NEW STYLE!

The most tournaments nowadays have a specially reserved space where all the tradestands are put in a so-called “tradevillage”. The tradeshow of the Dutch Masters Amsterdam will be something different and never seen before. Right thru the tournamentsite runs a road that will be crowned “Main Street DMA” during the four days of the event. This Main Street DMA is 250 metric long and will contain stands of the biggest names in paintball. Combined with stands of local businesses (both paintball and non-paintball related) and different food and beverage stands.

The tournamentsite can only be entered thru one entrance. Visitors of the DMA walk thru a big gate and are directly on the Main Street and can go to the fields from there. That means that the Main Street is very heart of the
tournament and will be as busy as Rodeo Drive on a saturdayafternoon. The combination of a stretched shoppingstreet with different kind of stands will attract more visitors to the Dutch Masters and therefor more potential customers.

Maximum exposure

The Dutch Masters is not only a paintballtournament but also a place to do business. The DMA gives you a lot of opportunities for maximum exposure for your business. What to think of your own special VIP booth where you can
meet with your own guests in a intimate enviroment. Ofcourse you also can use your tradestand as your office to meet with your current or new clients or to make new deals with your supplier, but this can give your company just
that little extra. The VIP booths are situated on a VIP deck right above the stands along the two Xball™ fields. At the beginning of Main Street DMA there will be a big truck placed with a sound system for music and
announcements. In front of this truck, on the other side of the road, a café with a big terrace is placed. Together with a big catwalk is this the perfect opportunity for a paintball fashion show. You as manufacturer, dealer or retailer of paintballproducts get a unique change to show your products to players, potential customers and the press. Playerclothing, casual clothing for males and females, packs, markers, protective gear. If you have something to show, we will give you the opportunity.
The fashionshow will be held two times during the event. Once on the Friday afternoon and once on the Saturday afternoon. This way every player and visitor will get a chance to see the show. Participating is easy. The organisation will do all the work like recruiting models, the promotion and the presentation. All your company has to do is deliver the goods you want to show and give the text that goes with it (discription of the product, company info, website, booth on tradestand, etc.)!
