Procaps Paintball NOW OPEN under OLD Management!

In a remarkable turn of fate, Procaps Paintball, DXS® / DraXxus® and VForce Vision Systems® are now officially OPEN FOR BUSINESS under the guidance of their founder, Richmond Italia. As the company's original President, Richmond launched Procaps in 1998, based on his love for the Game. Surrounding himself with a staff of Paintball players and enthusiasts who knew and loved the game, Richmond and his management team steered Procaps to become the number one quality paintball brand in the game within a few short years of innovative product launches, strategic acquisitions and a sweep of Championship victories.

In 2005, a venture capital company purchased the majority of Procaps shares, retaining the original management team until the recession caused an industry-wide downturn. Misreading the slowdown, the corporate investment firm dismissed all of Procaps' founding members. Over the last few years, without the founders' originating spirit, the interim owners lost touch with the Customers' core wants and needs. These "suits" piloted the ship into financial distress, leaving their bankers no choice but to offer the company's assets up for sale. In a successful bid against the industry's major powerhouses, Richmond Italia succeeded in regaining his rightful place at the helm of his original manufacturing facilities, which he designed himself.

Richmond Italia, (longtime player, former field operator and retailer) is now reassembling key members of his original management and production team, plus some new additions.

"Our excitement is once again soaring sky high!" Richmond says. "We're re-launching the industry's missing flagship, and bringing in the needed team members to help with the hard work that's being done by the die-hard G.I. Sportz staff, whose customer-focused efforts over the last two years have brought widespread recognition to the G.I. Brand. With input from our Dealer base, we plan to quickly implement everything that's needed to regain our top position in the industry. We couldn't be more thrilled! It's like being a kid all over again!"

Job #1 will be returning paintball production to its highest previous standards; reliable quality formulas and environmentally responsible ingredients that have proven to be what the customers really want. A key mission will be focusing on EcoFill™ and truly biodegradable paintballs, providing superb alternatives to the dangerously hard-to-clean and environmentally reckless oil-based formulas being offered by the competing distributors.

Many more exciting announcements are coming soon, including additional new acquisitions to bring you more vital products; new markers, masks, and accessory brands - under the Procaps Direct® distribution umbrella.
