Yes the boards will be illegal for tourney play in 2002.

Yes you can turn them off and lock them, but most fields in Kentucky and Indiana ban all modes but the semi-automatic because of insurance prohibitions against them. Insurance companies feel they are unsafe.

I would suggest that you buy a Shocker Sports 4x4 because you shoot 11 to 13 paintballs per second in the semi mod. Save your self some money. The Shocker in the semi mod will shoot as fast as you will need.
