Ball Detent?

I have a shocker 4x4 S/F. Whenever you tip the gun forward balls will roll out the barrel, also while you are shooting, it will chug and not shoot. The next trigger pull will fire two balls. We have tried every possible switch setting on the boards with no change. I can never reach anyone with any knowledge at Smart Parts. Is this gun supposed to have a ball detent? No-one seems to know.. Any suggestions??
