The shocker can use Co2 or HPA, most people use Co2 because you can get more shots from a Co2 bottle than from a HPA system.

Co2 has his own problems, as you told your marker can freeze on a cold weather even with an anti syphon tanks, but it will be more difficult

It will damage the o-rings faster, make the solenoids get dirty ( anyway you can use a filter ), etc.

In my opinion it works better with HPA than Co2, itīs more consistent, and you will never had a hot shot like Co2 - it better for tournaments.
