I am going to buy a new nitrogen system for but I don't want to spend a alot of money but I want it compatable for C02, because I have to drive an hour and a half to get nitrogen. My friend has a shocker with the stock regulator that comes with the gun, not the max flo that is purchased seperately for an extra 400 dollars. He said he would sell it to me, but I was wondering if I can just plug my CO2 tank in, but I heard you have to have an on/off switch. I was also wondering can I plug in a smart parts CO2/Nitrogen tank that you get with the max flo 4500, into the stock max flo that comes with the base gun. I was wondering why I need on on/off switch on the CO2 and if I want nitrogen, do I have to buy a different tank with a regulator on it?
