The reason is that the new and old Shockers have diffent types of "Switches" that activate the gun. The old Shockers had "DS" or dome switches. The newer Shockers have "LS" or level switches. The LS ones have a much lighter pull than the older DS ones.


: I found the shocker present at the Smart Parts websightin a local shop and compared it to an older model. I found the newer model heavier than the old and the same size ( dispite clais on the sight that the newer shocker was smaller and lighter. Does anyone have a comment on this? Was I looking at the wrong gun?

: Also, the new shocker seems to have a dramatically shorter trigger pull. Do you agree?

: I'm trying to verify whether the gun in the store was the same as the one on the website. It looked the same....
