Input pressure is about 200PSI and below into a Shocker. All Shockers and Impulses come with Max Flo regulators. Max Flo regs are some of the best out there.
If you are looking to buy a Nitro/Compressed air tank, you can buy any tank you want since a new Shocker or Impulse marker comes with a Max Flo regular in the box.
My recommendation would be going for at least a 88CI 4500PSI for a Shocker since it is a gas hog.

My personal set-up is a 2002 Eclipse Shocker in Aurora finish, Nitro Duck 90ci 4500PSI tank, Toxic drop craddle, Freak barrel sys, and Richocet hopper. I am very happy.

Good luck and have fun,
e2

: I'm thinking of trading my Vaporized Bushy with air for a Shocker. I'll need a new air source, however, and would like to avoid CO2 because I do some wintertime playing.

: If I were to buy a Max-Flo, would I need to run it directly into the marker, or would I need to run from the Max-Flo bottle to the Max-Flo reg (vertical) on the Shocker?

: What is the recommended input pressure into a Shocker?

: Thanks in advance for the advice.

: Fritz
