a 400 psi tank would be the better choice for the impulse, since the impulse operates at about 150psi stock anyway, 400 psi is just the right amount for it.u should have atleast 200psi higher input through the gun the the gun actually runs on, so 400psi is the perfect tank to get.just to let u in on a great deal...actionvillage.com has crossfire 68ci/4500psi tank with 450psi output, which is going for 160 or so,,,they usually go for around 230!!....hope this helps..p-man
