All you have to do is remove the plug from the front, screw your air-line into the front, and put the plug in the back. That air passage travels the length of the gun, and it doesn't matter which end the air enters. I did this changeover myself when I moved my Maxflow from the grip manifold to the vertical position.

Just make sure you use teflon tape to seal the threads so no air leaks out.
