Wilkie gives some good advice.

My own Shocker is set up much like yours is Doc. I put a Benchmark short midi-bar and angled ASA on it for my 68ci CO2 tank.

I also have the reg in vertical, but do not have the 9v mod (I should do that, who knows how much longer SP will be making those proprietary battery packs. ..)

I installed one of Doc Nickel's RIP2 trigger kits in a double trigger frame, which has fore and after travel adjustments (as well as tension adjustment) and replaces the stock domeswitch style trigger with a microswitch (like Angel). It allowed me to adjust my Shocker to a total pull of about 1.5mm (measured at the bottom end of the trigger). Very light, very crisp, and a great improvement over the stock dome switch. However, if you choose to install it yourself you'd need to know how to do basic soldering (to attach two wire leads to the board).

Perhaps the biggest efficiency boost I got was by dropping the stock 16" AA that came with my Shocker, and going to a 11.5" Lapco Bigshot barrel. It improved my shots/fill count by about 15% over stock. Unfortunately, beyond that there's not a whole lot you can do. The Shocker won't be a terribly efficient marker, no matter WHAT you do to it. It makes up for that by amazing consistency and stability. Few other markers allow you to put one ball on top of another like a Shocker that's running well.
