: I got my 2002 shocker used off ebay about 6 months ago. 2 months ago I noticed that my operating pressure was cranked up to 280 psi to get 285 fps. 2 days ago I tried to go, and my shocker wouldn't even fire. The bolt was moving back and forth, kinda like it was burping on every shot - but I had no paint in it. What to I do??

Well, it could be a couple things, but I suspect your battery may be low. I've had my battery pack die once, and it behaved much like you're describing as far as the burping but not firing goes (not enough electricity to run the firing solenoid I guess). Also, it sounds like your marker needs to be re-timed, it shouldn't be using that much pressure. Mine runs right around 150-170psi for 270fps (with a 16" AA). It runs even lower pressure when I'm using my 11.5" Bigshot.
