I have seen a lot of complaining about Smart Parts' service......

I have never recieved bad service from Smart Parts. Every problem I have ever had has been resolved IMMEDIATELY. They have always been professional over the phone, email and snail mail. My year old shocker (in 2001) was having regulator troubles. I called SP and explained. The tech asked me to do this and that, and then asked me to sit tight and wait for a package with parts and instructions. I was thinking, Ok this is gonna be weeks......2 days later I had my Max-Flo rebuild kit installed and the 'gun working flawlessly thanks to the tech's detailed instructions.

I called a while later and talked to a pretty irritating tech, didn't seem like he wanted to help me much. I realize that talking with the public can be trying, but this person was on the edge. I thanked him and hung up. Called back and asked for a manager, any manager. I talked with a helpful woman who resolved the issue and connected me with a much more helpful tech. Even though my gun was out of warranty, they offered a free repair/rebuild for my trouble, with a guarantee of a one-week turnaround.

- These are my experiences, and I plan to buy a 2003 Shocker as soon as they are available. But for those that have had trouble with SP, I encourage you to contact SP about it. ANY good company wants to know how they can improve things. But if employees within thier company are not holding to the expected standards of customer service, they may not know it unless you - THE CUSTOMER - gives the company some feedback.

Try dropping them an Email sales@smartparts.com , regardless of how old the problem is. You may just get an apology, but you may just save other people from the poor customer service you got.

Thanks.
