Jerry Braun puts Paintball Sports International Magazine on steroids

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

That's right... Jerry is at it again. Just like George Steinbrenner of the New York Yankees, Braun (Editor-in-Chief) has created the “ALL STAR TEAM”.

The Paintball Sports management team is now made up of all-stars from throughout the paintball and publishing industry. Everyone in the line-up will deliver nothing but home runs to the magazine’s readers, advertisers and distributors.

Mike Cutino, a publishing veteran and the Owner / CEO / Publisher of New York Sportscene and Nightlife magazines, has been named COO of Paintball Sports Magazine. Cutino has already started to build on Paintball Sports International’s 15-year reputation by increasing distribution, improving the new hot look of the magazine, and by bringing in top writers, graphic artists, and photographers to help create an even more dynamic and informative publication. Plans are now being made for its very own Paintball radio show, with DVD product guides and training videos.

"We are thrilled to have acquired Paintball Sports and look forward to
building on its solid achievements to date," Cutino says.

Cutino has selected Dawn Allcot, formerly a music industry trade magazine editor, and a freelance journalist with more than a decade of editorial experience, as well as a scenario paintball player, as Managing Editor. Together with Cutino and Braun, Allcot is planning new features and departments that will raise the bar on paintball reporting. Mike has also drafted Michele Walker, who was former art director of PEOPLE magazine, giving Paintball Sports Magazine a new hot exciting look.

Rounding out the magazine’s lineup are co-owners and PSI magazine
consultants Paul Sattler and Dean Del Prete. Sattler is the managing member of Paintball Sports Promotions which manages a world class Paintball Tour that culminates in the World Cup held at Disney. In addition Paul owns and
operates Generation E Sports and other paintball subsidiaries. Dean Del Prete is co-owner and chief operator of Cousins Paintball’s four huge playing facilities and six store locations throughout the NYC area.

Paintball Sports International will have professional writers and photographers in the field covering the major tournaments and most exciting scenario events in the U.S. and around the globe. Targeted at tournament and recreational players alike, Paintball Sports will offer the most up-to-date field listings, playing tips from the pros, and all the newest gear. Look for more sharp-shooting content, crisper photos, and
a captivating new design. Paintball Sports International will be the first magazine in the market to emphasize the paintball lifestyle on every page.

An integrated website will better serve the magazine’s readers and
advertisers with late-breaking paintball stories and a complete listing of
fields and stores. Set to launch on May 15, 2004. the new website www.paintballsportsmag.com, with the editorial power of Paintball Sports magazine and the immediacy of the Internet behind it, will be the place newbie’s, pros and everyone in between goes for paintball news.

The magazine’s founder, Jerry Braun, states, "I am confident that the new team at Paintball Sports Magazine has what it takes to help move paintball--the game, the sport and the industry--to the mainstream. They have the talent, the focus and the where-with-all. I can think of no better team to move Paintball Sports International to the next level.”
