NITRO DUCK ADDRESSES SAFETY

Nitro Duck, faces the past, and looks to the future

Nitro Duck – Where Safety Always Comes First!!

After becoming aware of some of the past horrendous experiences – we went to work immediately to produce safe guards to help secure our cylinders and our regulators. Nitro Duck has spent the past 7 weeks performing numerous studies on different regulator and bottle safeties, and we are more than elated to announce that we have made substantial progress in several safety devices for our regulators(both preset and adjustable).

The features are as follows:

Plasma (both 3000 and 4500 psi) and X-Stream (4500 psi) Regulators:
1.)Excess Flow Valve – this valve is internally placed inside the regulator which protects the cylinder and regulator both. In the situation that the regulator was ever broken in two, if someone unscrewed the cap from the body of the regulator, or even in the rupture disc is blow the valve turns it self on and limits the amount of flow that is allowed out of the cylinder to at a safe pressure. Thus allowing a minimal amount of air to exit the cylinder with the downstream affect of not allowing the cylinder to propel itself.

2.)Disconnection of the regulator and cylinder – this safeguard allows rapid dispersion of the air inside of the cylinder the moment a regulator is disconnected from the cylinder. Our tests show that a 90 cubic inch cylinder should empty itself in 9 seconds. Physically unscrewing the regulator from the cylinder in these tests showed that we still had 7 threads (more than a ¼ inch) of the regulator still inside the neck of the 4500 – 90 cubic inch cylinder at which the cylinder was empty. This should eliminate the worry of the bottle launching itself if the situation would ever arise.

Plasma (both 3000 and 4500 psi)
3.)Roll pin - there will no longer be a set screw that sets the pressure on our regulators. We have changed the design and have implemented a roll pin that will secure the cap of the regulator to the body. This should eliminate any tampering with the set screw in the side of the body of the presets.

None of the features will affect the flow rate or the pressure consistency of the output of the regulator.

The most innovative and duplicated manufacturer in the paintball industry has another first in paintball, but also once again raised the bar in high pressure technology. We are proud to announce a new era in Nitro Duck Air Systems – not only will you receive the most pressure-consistent regulator, with the extremely massive flow; you will also receive the safest regulator in the paintball market.
