CEREAL KILLERZ PREMIER IN SAN DIEGO

For those who loved PUSH and Sunday Drivers and thought it couldn’t get any better, get ready for this. Monkey with a Gun is planning to premier their new paintball film, Cereal Killerz, which is already being deemed the director, Patrick Spohrer’s, best work ever. The World Premier will be Thursday November 11th in San Diego, the same week of the NPPL’s Commander’s Cup at Qualcomm Stadium. This is a chance for you to view ten of the most influential players in the world, up on the big screen.

The film’s debut will be held at the historic La Paloma Theatre in Encinitas. www.lapalomatheatre.com. The show will start at 9:15pm and the ticket price is $7. The event is expected to be a sell-out show, so be there early to reserve your seat. After the show, head next door to the Martini Ranch www.martiniranchencinitas.com for a Cereal Killerz post-screening party.

Cereal Killerz highlights specific stand out individuals in paintball. “We have hand picked some of the best tournament players in the world and some of the best mentors in the sport,” says Bonnie, the Director of Marketing for Monkey with a Gun. “We have this amazing group consisting of Chris LaSoya from Infamous, Rocky Knuth from the Naughty Dogs, Bob Long the Captain of Bob’s Long’s Ironmen, Oliver Lang and Alex Fraige from Dynasty, Davey Williamson and Matty Marshall from XSV, Fred Halmone from the Ton Tons, Ron Kilbourne the Captain of the Bushwackers, and Max Lundqvist from Joy Division, together in one film. This crew truly gives paintball the recognition it deserves as an extreme sport.”

Cereal Killerz has had some of the biggest paintball manufacturers’ support since the beginning. Sponsors include National Paintball Supply, JT USA, Worr Games, WDP, and Smart Parts. Their support helped Monkey with a Gun travel to various NPPL, PSP, and Millennium events throughout the year. Bonnie continues, “Our goal was to get as much footage as possible, so when the film is completed each player has a captivating segment full of their best maneuvers, strengths, and personality. Now that Cereal Killerz is completed. I am confident we have achieved that.”

To coincide with all the great action presented in the film, a unique soundtrack offers a dramatic background. Cereal Killerz has a melodic mix of songs that don’t just pummel the eardrums, but certainly have enough energy to keep up. Bands like From Autumn to Ashes
(www.fromautumntoashes.com), Face to Face (www.facetofacemusic.com), Bay Root, Chronic Future (www.chronicfuture.com), Statistics
(www.statisticsmusic.com), Strike Anywhere, and No Motiv (www.no-motiv.com) truly add to the passion in this film.
