Reusable Paintless practice balls explode onto International market

VBALLS PRESS RELEASE

Reusable Paintless practice balls explode onto International market

Paintball enthusiasts of all skill levels are raving about a revolutionary new reusable paintless paintball system that lets players practice their favorite past time wherever, and whenever. VBALLS Target Systems hit the North American market less than twelve months ago, offering paintballers an affordable way to sharpen their game before heading out to the field.

This innovative product is the brainchild of Barry Belog, founder of Western Canada’s largest indoor paintball field in the mid 1980’s. An avid fan of the game himself, Belog set out to create a reusable training ball that would provide the rush of the paintball shooting experience without the mess and extra expense of traditional paintballs. He wanted to create a system that could be used at home by players that would be compatible with their regulation paintball guns, would provide them with an affordable way to calibrate their weapons off the field, and allow them to safely practice their shooting in the convenience of their homes. He also wanted to make the system affordable so that players could save their paint for game days. Based on his own experience and high skill level, Belog has spent over six years designing, developing and testing what is quickly becoming the hottest new paintball product to ever hit the market!

The system is designed around an ingenious VBALL projectile, a low weight sphere that is made of High Impact ABS plastic cores, and covered with a hook and loop material similar to Velcro.

VBALLS are designed to be fired from a 68 caliber paintball marker at a target covered with corresponding hooks that the VBALL sticks to on contact. No oil is needed to fire the projectiles. In fact, the special patented material buffs and polishes your barrel, removing residue build up left that may be left behind in your gun from game days. Durable enough to withstand hundreds of shots, this paintless projectile is also completely machine washable!

The weight of the VBALL is approximately 1.2 grams, with firing characteristics similar to that of a paintball. Belog designed the projectiles slightly smaller than the traditional paint ball to accommodate the expansion of the surface fibers and prevent jamming in the gun loader. Due to the mass, VBALLS will chrono slightly slower than a normal paintball, but seasoned players are amazed at the accuracy at which the Velcro spheres perform. The product is good for hundreds of shots, and it is recommended that shooting at the target should be at a range of not less than twenty feet. A regulation full paintball goggle system must be worn when shooting with VBALLS.

Belog is quick to point out that even though he is working toward development of VBALL body armor for full contact game settings in the near future, the intent of VBALLS is to complement the sport he is so passionate about. “Improve Your Aim; Improve Your Game” is the company credo, whether you are a seasoned player seeking to hone your skill level, or a novice or occasional gamer looking for a cost effective solution to maximizing your practice time. “It’s a great way to practice”, says Belog, “and a great way to save cash.”

The company has received rave reviews from players of all skill levels. Already available at over 350 dealers throughout the United States, as well as online, VBALLS are recommended by Paintball’s top professional teams including Xballs, New York Extreme and the Baltimore Trauma. Belog has also seen a huge volume of sales to beginning players looking to try out the sport before heading into a game setting. The product was also a runaway hit at the 2003 World Cup of Paintball that took place at Disney’s Wide World of Sports venue in Orlando, Florida. In just one day, over 200 systems were sold!

Dealers are excited about the product because it affords their customers the option of a reusable practice ball addition to their marker purchase. Currently, the system is available in a V100 Target Pack that includes a practice target and 100 VBALLS. A new V40 Target pack will be available soon. Other innovative VBALLS products are currently under development including a commercial Vballs body armour unit used in paintball arenas, specialized field ammo, and a non-air powered launcher. If there are no dealers in your area that carry the product, they can also be ordered online at www.vballs.com.
