TARPON SPRINGS, FL GRAND OPENING
Break 50 Paintball

New Paintball Outlet “Breaks” Onto the Scene-Grand Opening Scheduled for November 13-14th 2004

Tarpon Springs, FL November 4, 2004, -- Break 50 Paintball announces the opening of its new retail store catering to Tampa Bay’s paintball enthusiasts.

Once thought to be a sport for only radical militants, paintball has hit the mainstream, and nowhere is it more evident than in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Take two professionals, one marriage, three kids, a couple of dogs and family fun – shake them up and what do you get? Break 50 Paintball!

New paintball storeowners, Nick and Stacy Hansen, were initially a little concerned when their sons became interested in Paintball, but upon researching the sport, found it to be a safe and fun way for the whole family to spend time together. According to the National Injury Information Clearinghouse of the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in Washington D. C., "In the number of estimated injuries per 1,000 participants, paintball had the least number of injuries of all the listed sports. The number of injuries for paintball is less by far than bowling, tennis, archery, basketball, and many other sports."

The Hansens also learned that while there are a lot of fields locally, there were not a lot of retail outlets for their new addiction in Upper
Pinellas County. The couple decided to pair their strong business backgrounds with a gift of gab to provide a new place for ballers to
congregate. “We are offering great prices and exceptional service,” states owner Nick Hansen. “Our focus is on building a fun and exciting business that will continue to grow with the incredible popularity of the sport.” The National Sporting Goods Association states that there were 7.4 million paintball participants in 2003, and that number has continued to increase with the sports popularity to 9.8 million, according to the latest SGMA International "Sports Participation in America: A National Attraction" edition (2004).

Break 50 Paintball will offer a wide range of paintball products including Markers, Goggles, Air Systems, Accessories and Apparel. The Grand Opening will be held November 13th and 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sign up for the opportunity to win a free marker, paintball accessories, apparel and much more!
