PACIFIC ALL-STAR PAINTBALL
Pacific Paintball

Tournament on Guam - July 16-17, 2005

Guam, an island in the Pacific, has been known for its beaches and world-class recreational facilities. But another thing about this Pacific
haven is the continuous and remarkable growth of its paintball industry.

Paintball has been a staple Sunday pastime in the island for more than x years. Recently they have launched the Guam Paintball Legaue, a union of X teams committed to provide more exposure for paintball as well as professionalize how the games are played. Most of these teams have also played key roles in the development of the sport in the Asia-Pacific Region.

This year they will bring their responsibility to the next level. With the Boonie Dogs Paintball Club in the lead and endorsed by the Guam
Visitors Board and Department of Parks and Recreation, they would like to invite the world-wide paintball community to the Pacific All-Star
Paintball Tournament 2005. This event will be on July 16 & 17 at the Paseo Stadium in Hagatna and is one of the highlights for the 61st
Liberation Day Celebration activities. It will be a 5-man team and Capture the Flag format and will adhere to the the Paintball Association
National League Rules (PANL UK). The Paintball Association UK will be sending Russell “Rulebook” Smith (Tournament Ultimate) and Simon “Gilly” Gilmore (Field Ultimate), two of its top refs to serve as the main marshals for this tournament. There will be 3 divisions- the Open, the Corporate/ Government and the Young Guns. Teams from Guam as well as countries like the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Japan, United Kingdom and the mainland US are expected to participate in this 2-day affair.

According to the over-all tournament director, Rich Paulino, this is the first international tournament for paintball ever to be held in Guam, and
would aid in establishing Guam as a premier destination for paintball in the region.

So I urge you, to come to The Island and experience the fusion of sun, waves and games that creates a truly different Pacific Paintball Getaway!
