IAO TO BE RESEARCH EVENT FOR FILM
Team Effort Events

Greta Gaines, daughter of founding father Charles Gaines, is currently in research mode for an upcoming documentary on Paintball. She and her partners will be attending the IAO to get up close and personal with the game, the sport, and the players.

"I was just a girl when my Dad and his friends first dreamed up The National Survival Game, and after hearing about his experiences at the IAO last year for the Sports Illustrated article, I really got excited about the prospects for a documentary film. We're looking forward to starting our research in Pittsburgh and getting to know paintball and the players who love it! "

Before Greta’s current gig as a host on ESPN’s Basscenter and New Amercian Sportsman, she was the first World Extreme Snowboard Champion in 1992. She also had her own action sports adventure - travel show on Oxygen called "Freeride with Greta Gaines". As a musician she’s toured with Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette and Tori Amos and has a new EP debuting next week on itunes. Check out the single "Honeycomb" June 28 on Ethan Hawke's celebrity playlist featured on itunes.

Gaines went on to say, “I’ll be up for talking to anyone at the IAO about how paintball has affected their lives. It’ll be a great research spot to learn about all the different facets of players from pro’s to rookies to scenario players – we want to learn about it all”!

Only 1 week left to get your teams name in the program which is featured in the Special Edition Paintball 2Xtremes Magazine!
