3 MAN CHARITY TOURNAMENT

North Carolina - Real McCoys Paintball Field on October 15, 2005

On the Saturday after Hurricane Katrina hit, I was home watching Fox news. A doctor came on the screen, crying and wanting any medical
personnel to come to New Orleans to help him. Being an O.R. nurse of 14 years, I could feel his pain and frustration through the TV. I
wanted to go RIGHT THEN. I couldn't! I was on call for my own hospital for the entire Labor Day weekend. I had to take care of my own
patients right here at home. To add to my frustration, my paintball team was playing in a tournament that I could not attend due to being on
call. I had to do something. So, I called my field sponsor, Junior McCoy, at Real McCoys Paintball. I asked him was there anyway we
could have a tournament to benefit the Hurricane Katrina victims. I wanted ALL of the tournament fees to go to the Red Cross. As a result,
the players would be playing for the love of the game and bragging rights. Not only did he say yes, but he said he would not charge anything
to have the tournament at his field. A dream to help these victims and bring paintball players together had been met!

I started posting the tournament on local forums that week with no prizes offered. I was astounded at the number of players responses.

Some players were even going to "come out of retirement" to play. Other experienced players were planning to pick up some inexperienced players to play the game. Young men began thinking about the world around them and started asking about getting donations for the Red Cross. A generation eyes were opened.

I took another long shot and called the local NBC news. I told them about the tournament. They wanted to come out to cover the event. Paintball on TV! In Eastern North Carolina this was unheard of.

I had met Josh Silverman at the Paintball School this past August. I contacted him in regard to the tournament. He will try to be there in
person. If he couldn't, he told me how to gather all the information he would need to put the results of the tournament in PB2X magazine. This tournament was growing fast!

As the days went by, teams, fields, individuals, and companies heard about our tournament with no prizes. They began donating prizes for the players. We are still in the process of compiling all the sponsors for this tournament! Among the sponsors for the tournament is Real McCoys Paintball, Superior Home Improvement, The MOB Paintball Team, Revelation Paintball Team, Hailstorm Paintball Team, Paintball Kingdom, Pro Caps, Redz, Nelson Paintball, and Shocktech.

This tournament will be held at Real McCoys Paintball on Saturday, October 15th at 9am. It is an Open 3 Man Charity Tournament. The fee per team is $120. There will be raffles all day. You can see the web site at www.mccoypaintball.com

I know it is a long shot emailing you this letter, but as you can see, I take ALOT of long shots in more ways than one. Would you post this notice of a tournament somewhere on your web site?

I am so proud of these players coming together for their fellow Americans.

Sincerely,
Sherrie Lambert-Bussineau
The M.O.B.
