THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL SCHEDULE

The Outdoor Channel will visit GPL and NPPL events in November

After successfully filming its debut episodes at tournaments in California, The Outdoor Channel’s “Inside Paintball” will hit the road and travel to the East Coast in November for season finale events for the Global Paintball League(GPL) and the National Professional Paintball League (NPPL).

“Inside Paintball” is a new television series that will begin airing in January on The Outdoor Channel. “Inside Paintball” follows the network’s popular magazine-like format and offers viewers tournament highlights, new product demonstrations, game strategy tips and profiles of the teams and players.

Shawn Walker and Tony D’Amico serve as co-hosts of “Inside Paintball”, offering a mix of great paintball knowledge and experience with high energy and humor. Walker is the show’s designated Paintball Insider with a long history in the paintball industry starting when he owned and operated a paintball store in San Diego to his current role as a tournament promoter. D’Amico is a recreational paintball player who passion is to learn more about paintball and bring that information to new and future players of the sport.

“Inside Paintball” will be on location gathering footage from the entire GPL event November 19 & 20 at the Del Hobbies Paintball Complex in Pedricktown, N.J. In addition to filming and offering commentary from the games in the 3-player and 5-player divisions, "Inside Paintball” will profile a few of the teams regularly competing in the GPL.

There is still space available for teams in the GPL event, and you can’t have a shot at getting on television if you don’t play in the event. For more information and to register for the 2005 season’s final GPL event, visit www.GPL05.com or call 503-581-4594. The GPL offers more than $36,000 worth of prizes per event, plus its “Global Guarantee” where prizes will be awarded the day of the event or a cash value will be given.

Before filming in New Jersey, “Inside Paintball” will go to Miami for the series ending event of the 2005 NPPL season November 4-6th. Registration is full for teams to play in the NPPL event but grandstand seats and VIP passes are available to purchase. Entry for spectators into the event is free.
