MK Entertainment in conjunction with Kohn Sports invites you to the Grand Opening Month of Kohn Sports Paintball Park in Riverview, Florida, which will run through April 16th, 2006. The Paintball Park has been opened for two weeks now, and the numbers have been astonishing. On opening weekend Kohn Sports housed more than 200 people per day. People from all over the country have were there to enjoy it and many more continue to arrive.

On the first weekend, professional paintball players from as far as New York came to test the field, including members from PMI Factory and The Deadly Venoms (www.deadlyvenoms.com). Every weekend Kohn Sports plans to provide demonstrations, as well as technique and strategy tips from the players and the owners. Representatives from many local media sources have also been in attendance including the WILD 98.7 Street team, and members from the St. Pete Times Forum. The Grand Opening weekend featured food, music, and a lot of hype. The party still continues with 98Rock joining the events in the upcoming month. In attendance for opening day were also representatives from Nationwide Paint and Gear Distributors, who have decided to come back out for another weekend because they enjoyed the field and the people so much.

Paintball is the fastest growing Extreme Sport in the World. Since the phenomenon began in the 1970s, it has quickly spread from New York to France and everywhere in between. On March 18th, 2006, the newest Paintball Park opened the doors to a 120 acre field. The field opens at 9 am and closes at 5 pm on both Saturdays and Sundays, and will be open for leagues, team and corporate outings during the week by appointment.

The field is connected with Kohn Sports Retail Paintball Stores located in Brandon and Oldsmar. The owners, Gavin Anderson and Cecelio Alvarado, will be on hand to provide information about equipment, gear, and league competition. All ages and levels of experience are welcome to come.

The field contains 120 acres for play and was designed by professional players to provide all resources for various paintball games including rec-ball and speed ball. All media sources and their guests will receive discounts and incentives for the month beginning March 18th through April 18th. Also any persons or guests connected with MK Entertainment will also receive promotional discounts. Reservations are encouraged.
