XPSL TO BECOME VIDEO GAME HEREOS
Xtreme Paintball Sports League

Sonic, the Hedgehog, Mario Brothers and now XPSL Series Champions Winners of 2006 XPSL Series will Become Video Game Heroes

Today the Xtreme Paintball Sports League (XPSL) added to its series
championship prize package, a shot at video game stardom! All of the 2006 XPSL Series Team Champions and the players from each of these winning teams will be in an upcoming Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball title!
That’s right! The seven-player Amateur, Novice and Rookie division series champions and three-player Young Guns series champions will be emulated in an upcoming version of Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball.

The first release, Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball (GHTP), hit stores in November 2004 and has sold well over 400,000 copies and was elevated to “Platinum Hit” status by X Box! This past year, it was joined by a sequel release titled: Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball MAX’D. Like the original version, MAX’D is available for XBOX, but is also available for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS handheld systems. More information, screen shots and music from MAX’D can be found at www.ghtp.net and www.ghtpmusic.com. MAX’D can be purchased at www.actionvillage.com or local video game retailers.

The XPSL held its first event of the 2006 season was held in March at SC Village in Corona, Calif. SD Aftermath, Team Vengeance and Vegas Heat took home the titles in their respective seven-player divisions from the first
event. They also took home a large portion of the XPSL’s $50,000 event prize package, but more importantly took the lead in capturing the chance to be immortalized forever as video game paintball heroes! “Including real teams and players only increases the realism of our franchise” said Greg Hastings, namesake of the videogame and professional tournament paintball player. “Better yet, these teams will earn these spots in the game and that just rocks!”

The second leg of the five event XPSL season will take place June 2-4, 2006 at Santa Clara Paintball Park in San Jose, California. Registration is now open for the San Jose event, and spots are going fast. Additional
tournament, travel and hotel information can be found at www.XPSL.com.
