The National Collegiate Paintball Association hosted their National Championship event April 7-9, 2006 at Xdrenaline Zone near Dallas.

Dedicated College Paintball Teams from across the United States came to Texas to compete in XBall and five-player formats, with the University of Connecticut Huskies crowned champions in Division A and the UC Irvine Anteaters victorious in Division AA. While College Paintball athletes competed on the field of play, DraXxuS, too, claimed first place at the NCPA Nationals, by a final score of 2 to 1!

All the major paintball manufacturers’ brands were available - all priced identically – enabling Teams to make their own choices based on quality, performance and trust in their favorite brand. Once the dust settled, DraXxuS outsold every other brand COMBINED by more than a 2 to 1 margin! In a season already rich with victories for DraXxuS teams, The Procaps Factory (makers of DraXxuS) takes great pride in knowing that so many hardworking student players spend their hard-earned money on DraXxuS as their paintball of choice. DraXxuS humbly thanks the NCPA’s Players and Teams for their overwhelming vote of confidence.

As an added exclamation point on an already impressive weekend of competition at the NCPA Nationals, the top three Teams on the AA Division podium shot DraXxuS paintballs on their way to the top, adding yet another DraXxuS-powered “1-2-3 Victory Sweep” to the still-young 2006 season!

* 1st - UC Irvine Anteaters Gold
* 2nd - Kansas State Wildcats
* 3rd - UC Irvine Anteaters Blue

Class A
* 1st – University of Connecticut Huskies
* 2nd – University of Illinois Illini
* 3rd – Perdue University Boilermakers
