Paintball News TV Show to film the NPPL Super 7 Boston Event

The National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) and Pure Promotions are pleased to announce that PNK Outdoor Productions, LLC will be filming the NPPL Super 7 World Series Boston event July 21 – 23 for their upcoming interactive show on the Men’s Outdoors and Recreation channel. PNK Outdoor Productions, LLC recently announced an agreement has been reached between Michael Klahr, programming director of the Turner Media Group and PNK Outdoor Productions, LLC to air a paintball TV show for the initial contract period of one year. The show is scheduled to commence Saturday night, primetime July 15, 2006 with the tentative time slot being 9 PM Eastern.

The Turner Media Group is a major program provider on satellite and cable TV with eight interactive TV channels. It is an innovator in interactive TV which allows the viewer to learn more about the shows sponsors’ products through their remote control during programming without ever leaving their couch.

The show will be produced by PNK Outdoor Productions in cooperation with the Men’s Channel, a Turner Media Group Network. They will air the show on Men’s Outdoors and Recreation, channel 218 on the Dish network. This is not a premium channel but a free channel available in the Dish program basic 50 package which is received by all of the DISH households. It is also available on most cable providers.

The show will be called Paintball World TV News Show. It will be a TV magazine format that will cover the latest news in the sport, not only the tournament side of the sport but the scenario games, big games and recreational sides of the sport as well. It will include filmed coverage of these types of events as well as schedules of upcoming events. It will be aired once weekly, every Saturday night on a designated primetime slot all year long. This will allow viewers to be able to find the show consistently.

Tournament coverage will be a big part of the show too, with coverage of the events as well as reports with the latest scores, schedules, upcoming events and highlights of the action.

There will be a "Hottest Product" segment which will review some of the latest products from our sponsors. There will be a "Young Guns" segment where paintball from a young player’s eyes will be shown with recreational segments as well as coverage and interviews of the leagues young gun players.

A chance to win the sponsors’ products highlighted in the "Hottest Product" segment will be offered to viewers during the "Young Gun" segment. Viewers only need to email the Paintball World TV News Show website, their names will be entered for a drawing and the winners will be announced on the following show. This will make viewers come back the following week to see if they have won or not.

There will also be an "Industry Notable" segment with interviews from our sponsors about their companies and products, interviews with players and other personalities in the industry.

With the format that reaches all players alike and all styles of play as well as all ages we feel this show will be a great success. We are very excited for this opportunity to present paintball to the national audience.

The Turner Media Group and Paintball World TV News Show have also agreed to embark upon an aggressive advertising campaign by taking out many ads in paintball publications in the next five months. This should help steer viewers to the channel and the show. They will also be promoting Paintball World TV News Show at both tournaments and scenario games with banners, flyers, and personal representation. This show should be a great show for sponsors because we will utilize their logos in the print media ads, banners, and flyers.
