Big win at the Long Beach Action on Film Festival



Court Jesters, in its film festival debut has won the coveted Best Drama
award at the 2006 Long Beach Action On Film Festival. Court Jesters,
nominated in three areas, was one of two hundred entries in the action festival.

ACTION ON FILM FESTIVAL, which took place July 28th-30th in Long Beach, CA. has played host to some of the biggest action and film stars from around the world beginning with Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Blake Edwards, and hundreds of other actors, producers, directors, filmmakers, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, and ESPN.

Court Jesters, based on the award winning screenplay of writer/director, Eric John Kepner, is inspired by the true story of a teenage boy from a broken home, who manages to find direction in the form of a paintball team. The cast is comprised of a mixture of veteran actors from The Sopranos and Law and Order, and a host of new and upcoming talent.

The cast and crew of Court Jesters, the subject of a NY Times feature article, are extremely thankful for the support they have received from companies such as PMI, Tippmann, Cousins Paintball, Component Concepts, New World Group, LIM - The College for the Business of Fashion, Generation E Sports, Paintball Sports International, Panasonic, Odyssey Tech, Gorilla Grip. In addition, special thanks to the Suffolk County Film Office, the Town of Brookhaven, and Sachem High School.
