BRAZILIAN CUP IN DECEMBER
Brazilian Cup

Go to San Paulo Brazil for the Brazilian Cup December 2 and 3, 2006.

The Brazilian Cup started in 2000 to celebrate the Brazilian 500th anniversary. The Brazilian Cup was held at a soccer stadium with just 14 teams, with very good prizes. After the first year, all the players asked to hold the tournament again. After the first year with 14 years, we had 18, 22, 24, and last year 30 teams from 7 states. We started with a single field and 2006 we are expecting 40 teams and 3 fields.

Today all Brazilian players want to play at the Brazilian Cup, not only because it is the biggest and most competitive tournament in South America but because they love and want our prizes. The 2006 tournament will take place December 2-3, 2006 in San Paulo Brazil. In 2005 the Professional champion team (Jungle Boyz) won 7 tickets to play at World Cup in Orlando Florida. This year the Professional champion and Amateur teams will play at the 2007 World Cup. Our prize package this year is worth more than $17,000! Our sponsors are SEVERE, NATIONAL PAINTBALL, MEGA PLAY MORUMBI AND PAINTBALL PRO. We are always looking for more paintball companies to help us grow.

Paintball in Brazil has grown considerably since 2000. Since that year, we’ve gone from just 15 fields in the country to almost 100 fields. Since 1991, we’ve had had a Brazilian team playing in the US, but this year at World Cup there will be 5 Brazilian teams competing.

Thanks, I hope more paintball companies help Brazilian and South American paintball grow. For more information please contact me at ciccio@megaplaymorumbi.com.br
