WDP SPONOSRS THE CFOA
CFOA

WDP Sponsors the CFOA

The CFOA, the world's largest five-man tournament series, and WDP, producer of the legendary Angel paintball gun, have reached a sponsorship agreement for the 2007 season. While precise terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, it has been announced that the amazing new Angel 1 paintball gun, winner of two NPPL professional titles in the hands of Miami Rage and Joy Division, and nearly every 2006 Millennium Series Champion's League event thanks again to Joy Division, will be presented as a grand prize at a CFOA event in the coming season.

"The CFOA series has been on our Radar for some time now," said Owen Ronayne of WDP after the agreement was concluded. "It's a successful and growing series that more and more players are asking us to support. I am very happy to not only sponsor the CFOA, but also have certified WDP techs at every event next year to help service and support Angel teams. Talking of which, at least 6 of our 07 stable of sponsored teams will be competing in the CFOA, so look for Angel teams on the podium. We aim to help our CFOA teams get the same great results we have enjoyed in the NPPL this year."

Joshua D. Silverman, Director of Marketing and Sponsorship for the CFOA, echoed those sentiments. "WDP has long been a respected member of the paintball industry. What they didn't directly invent that has shaped our sport, WDP has influenced. It's an honor to finally welcome a company with the storied history of WDP to our family for 2007 and beyond!"

After a season that saw an average of 110 five-man teams attending league events, the CFOA will again combine the traditions that have made the league successful with new concepts and formats, all built on a firm foundation of customer service. The 2007 CFOA event schedule and updated rulebook will be released shortly.
