SLY LLC released today the much anticipated Pro-Merc Single barrel; it is currently the only barrel on the market that features SLY's patented Dual-Carbon taper system combined with the versatility and affordability of a one-piece, single bore barrel.

Answering the demands of players worldwide, SLY is proud to add this product to it's acclaimed Dual-Carbon series. Designed with the same precision and patented taper technology in all of SLY's barrel systems, the SLY Single barrel couples lightweight carbon fiber with a single laser etched .689 back adapter.

12K and Chest Protector Release
ANAHEIM, CA (November 5th, 2008) – SLY LLC, announced today the release of both the 2009 Pro-Merc™ Chest Protector and 12K Dual-Carbon Tip.

SLY is excited to showcase the new Pro-Merc Chest Protector; designed around a combination of 2-way and 4-way stretch Lycra®, the base of this chest guard offers supreme padding without sacrificing flexibility. Quilted ten millimeter memory foam is situated through out the garment, strategically positioned for optimal coverage and the occasional bounce. Thin accents of matte silver piping run the length of the chest and compliment the thermoplastic rubber SLY logo.

SLY also announced the addition of yet another stunning barrel to their Dual-Carbon Classic series; the new SLY 12K Pro-Merc barrel is currently the first carbon product in paintball to feature the new broad 12K weave—a new frontier in carbon fiber aesthetics.

The new SLY 12K Pro-Merc utilizes a 12K broad carbon weave atop a traditional tight 3K carbon weave, highlighted with dual pinstriped color accents--available in silver, blue, red, and neon. Also debuted in SLY's new 12K barrel is SLY's revolutionary dual-finish coating; the 12K Pro-Merc series is the only carbon fiber barrel in paintball to feature rich, glossy carbon fiber in concert with deep matte black accents.
