BARNEY GOES WITH SMART PARTS
Smart Parts

Well known scenario gamer Daniel “Barney” Alamo signs with Smart Parts for 2009 season.

February 4, 2009 – Loyalhanna, PA – With its roots in woodland paintball games back in 1989, Smart Parts has always been supportive of the players that drive the sport. In January 2009, one of scenario ball's well known players, Daniel “Barney” Alamo signed an agreement to exclusively shoot Smart Parts markers and Freak Barrel Systems for the 2009 season.

As a part of the sponsorship agreement, Barney received two intensive days of technical training at the Smart Parts factory in Pennsylvania and is now certified for performing technical repair on the Ion, EOS, Shocker NXT, Ion XE, Vibe, SP-1 and the Micro Max-Flo giving him the ability to not only represent Smart Parts on the field with his unique playing style, but off the field as well, all around the country at scenario games, helping players with their equipment.

Barney's primary marker is a custom laser engraved Shocker NXT in his trademark plum color. He will be easily spotted in his custom jersey and pants produced by Smart Parts' soft goods division. Smart Parts is proud to continue in its support of scenario paintball and is thrilled with the level of representation Barney shows towards his sponsors as well as support of the players around him.

“We're excited to be able to help Barney meet his goals for 2009, because we've seen how much he supports other players at the field,” said Smart Parts Scenario Coordinator, Sean Scott. “Barney presented us with a sponsorship that was easy for us to get behind, because it wasn't just about doing stuff for him, it was about how we could equip him to help many more players.”

Barney's 2009 season schedule is included, look for him at a field near you this season.
