SCENARIO HALF TIME IN SO CAL

Scenario Half-Time in Southern California

It's one game down, one to go in the Southern California Viper Scenarios double-header.

Loyalhanna, PA – February 25, 2009 – Road Warriors Part 1 was a huge success and now players are gearing up for part 2. On January 17th, 2009 players gathered and took sides at Giant Paintball Park in Alpine California. Papigallo, the peaceful leader portrayed by Sean Scott of Smart Parts led his team against the wild tribe of Lord Humungus, played by Erik Engler of Tippmann Sports.

The field's varied terrain, augmented with everything from concrete sewer pipes to a western town and castle proved the perfect location for the game, and the weather cooperated as well, with sunny skies, temperatures in the 70s and just enough wind to keep things interesting. On the refinery side, the team's executive officer was Jud Cary, with Mia Cary from Team Reboot acting as radio operator. Erich Garbers from Tippmann served as Engler's radio operator.

“I was shooting my SP-1 with the Blackheart upgrade, and was able to rip out the paint without a single break in the marker all weekend,” said Sean Scott. “Both sides played hard, but we also had a lot of fun on the field and off. There were even teams giving out Pop-Tarts during missions. They kept me laughing over the command radio during the whole weekend.”

The battles were hard fought, but when the points were tallied, victory went to the refinery team. The first event may be done, but the game is not over, part two is approaching this fall. September 26th and 27th, the teams will gather again, this time at the world famous SC Village in Chino, California.
