European SPL 2008 Champions, Instinct, go Pro with the Luxe

For Immediate Release - Famous stateside for the US Air Base it hosts, the city of Ramstein Germany is familiar to many Americans and Europeans alike. One of the most recent European paintball teams to be promoted to the rank of professional, Ramstein Instinct, hopes to bring new notoriety to the name.

Instinct cut its teeth playing in the German league, Deutsche Paintball Liga. In three years of competition the team continually found itself making the finals, finishing as the second ranked team at the end of each season. Expanding beyond the German borders, Instinct began competing against teams from across Europe and the world in D2 of the Millennium Series. The team quickly moved up to D1 level competition where they faced not only the best players from neighboring countries, but also American pros guesting on European rosters.

Crowned as the champions of the 2008 CPL (Millennium Series' semi-pro league,) Ramstein Instinct will be playing as pros in the 2009 season.

Like any pro team, Instinct takes their choice of markers seriously. They need professional grade equipment that is fast, reliable and accurate on the field, but can be adjusted and maintained at a moment's notice in the staging pits.

Ramstein Instinct is making their professional debut shooting the Luxe Premium Paintball Marker. Team owner Stefan “Maiwi” Maiwald said, “We're really happy to shoot the Luxe for the 2009 season. It's a beautiful marker, it performs flawlessly on the field and is so easy to maintain, we can't help but perform better as well. We're especially proud to be the first Luxe sponsored team in the CPL.” Under the leadership of team captain, Dennis Prahl, Instinct will be hitting the fields this weekend at the Maxs Indoor Masters, the largest indoor event in Germany, in their inaugural professional event
