Players of the SPPL respond and recruit teams to bring an Official SPPL event to New Jersey!

Tippmann and Special Ops Paintball, generous sponsors of the SPPL, will announce plans to give away 20 paid entrances into several SPPL events across the country. Check your email for details.

Salt Lake City, UT, March 18, 2009: After hearing news that the SPPL would not be having a North East Qualifier in 2009, several players led by Bill Berger of One Ten Paintball have taken matters into their own hands by approaching the SPPL and asking, “What will it take to get an Official SPPL event in New Jersey added to the 2009 schedule?” SPPL President Jayson Nielson responded by saying, “we need a minimum of 10 teams to host and event.”

With nearly 10 teams committed, Bill and the guys from One Ten are close to reaching their goal but they need your help to make it happen. To get more information about this event, please contact Jayson at Jayson@playsppl.com or Bill at billnbek@gamil.com.

Although the 3-Flag format of the SPPL is considered by many to be the best Woodsball tournament series in the World; it is the players who truly make it great! Their extraordinary Sportsmanship and support of the SPPL is unmatched anywhere else in paintball. The fact, that the players themselves have recruited teams to insure an SPPL event in their area is unheard of and speaks volumes about the players in this league and the league itself. Therefore, the SPPL would like to encourage all you to attend this event and help the guys from One Ten reach their goal of 10 or more teams.
