SCOTTISH WARRIORS PARTNERS WITH SP
Smart Parts

The European Top Scenario Team stays with the marker that brought them victory.

Loyalhanna, PA – April 13, 2007 – Scotland's Paintball Elite, the Scottish Warriors have been playing scenario paintball in Europe for several years now, and risen to prominence in the 2006 season. When a team can play through a full season earning win after win, they get noticed, and team captain Tony Lindsay was able to work out a team sponsorship with Philip Webb, director of Smart Parts Europe.

“Supporting the Scottish Warriors was a natural move for us,” said Webb, “it is not just about winning events either. The whole team carries an enthusiasm for having fun and getting new players more involved in scenario paintball.”

With their trademark black tactical gear, the Warriors adopted the Smart Parts SP-8 as their team marker in 2006, shooting through various models of Smart Parts barrels and powered by Max Flo Micro compressed air systems. For the team, this equipment trio has proven very effective. The SP-8 gives them the high rates of fire, accuracy and whisper quiet operation that only come from a true electropneumatic marker. At the same time it provides them the stability and accessory mounting capabilities that are critical in a tactical paintball environment.

On the field, the Warriors have made their presence known as the right team with the right equipment, so much so that PBUK in association with Extreme Sports named them "Team of the Year 2006," selected by vote of British paintball players.

Smart Parts and The Scottish Warriors have renewed their partnership for the 2007 season and expect more successes in their future together. When asked about the team's goals, Lindsay responded, “We'd like to do the best for our sponsors... then take over the world.”
