CAPITAL OFFENSE 2007 SPONSORS
Capital Offense

The Capital Offense, an east-coast scenario paintball team that has expanded rapidly in the past year has announced its core 2007 sponsors as of April:
• Planet Eclipse
• VFORCE
• Flurry Industries
• Scenario Supply

Team Captain, David C. Thompson, stated “Capital Offense is very proud to have a strong lineup of sponsors for 2007. This Team started with two people just two years ago and now has over twenty-four people on the active roster. We are all thrilled that our efforts have paid off and that we are now sporting what we believe to be the best brands in the business.”

Planet Eclipse is supplying The Capital Offense with EGO markers, particularly the new high-tech ETeks. VFORCE is currently supplying the Team with Profiler goggle systems. Flurry Industries is outfitting
Capital Offense with their Emissary Tactical Vests. Scenario Supply is providing logistical support to the Team for everything from uniforms to night vision goggles.

The Capital Offense is based out of Washington, DC but has Divisions in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and New York. The Team has a unique umbrella-group structure that allows each Division to act semi-autonomously when it comes to recruitment and attendance. The Team has won major awards at most every game it has attended since its formation in 2005, and is known for its aggressive and skilled play and for placing a strong emphasis on sportsmanship.

The Team’s ultimate goal is the sustainable expansion of the scenario market, which continues to focus on the recreational and family-oriented make-up of the sport. Thompson stated, “The best part about scenario
games is that it allows all skill levels to participate together and have fun. I started this sport with my Dad when I was 10 years old, and some of my best memories are of playing paintball with him through the years. The scenario market presents these opportunities to others in a way that tournament ball can’t always accommodate, and we have to protect that for future generations.”
