SHOCKERS IN MAO WINNERS CIRCLE
Smart Parts

Red Legion and Aftermath take top honors at the PSP Mid Atlantic Open with the Shocker.

At the 2007 PSP Mid Atlantic Open, the reigning NXL World Champions, Boston Red Legion showed the world that they have no intention of giving up their title. While they had been bumped to second place at the series kick-off, the Los Angeles Open, the Red Legion took home the NXL first place trophy for the MAO.

Fifteen of the toughest professional teams in paintball weren't the only obstacle between Red Legion and the winner's podium. Heavy rains came down from the north, and while other teams players were worrying how the electronics in their markers would hold up, the players of Boston Red Legion were able to focus on their game, secure in the knowledge that they could rely on their Shocker NXT Markers to deliver their paint on target fast.

At the end of the tournament's preliminary round, both Dynasty and Red Legion stood undefeated, and continued with wins in the quarterfinals. In the semifinal round Dynasty suffered their first loss, while Boston Red Legion was victorious over the 2007 LA Open winners, the Los Angeles Ironmen. A solid 9 to 4 win against X-Factor secured the Legion's first place standing.

Finishing first place in the MAO's Open Class division were the 2006 World Cup Open Class winner's Aftermath, on their way to a strong 2007 season with the Shocker NXT.

One thing these teams have in common besides winning at the biggest and toughest tournaments in the world, is that they know what we know – Equipment Counts.
