NEW LINE OF ELECTRONIC GUN BOARDS

New Electronic Marker Boards from Warboards uses MarkerTalk Software

CORAL SPRINGS, FL. – Warboards, LLC is proud to announce the release of a new line of electronic marker boards and PC based applications for paintball markers. The framework of modern electronics combined with MarkerTalk, a suite of PC based programs deigned to operate under Microsoft Windows, provides a competitive advantage, increased performance, user-friendly operation, feature-rich functionality and expandable technology.

While the boards do support the traditional LED interface for marker setup; the real excitement is in using the USB interface and the MarkerTalk software to configure and maintain your marker. MarkerTalk Embedded is pre-loaded on every board shipped and comes with a comprehensive list of fire modes, including; semi-auto, PSP, NXL, NPPL, CFOA, Millennium, Ramping, auto-response, 3-shot, full-auto, breakout and OMG. Transistor controlled eye sensing provides user configurable high speed switching and the enhanced timer resolution increases trigger responsiveness; setting the new standard for super-smooth trigger operation. Enhanced power management features include; an ultra-low power design, instant-on operation, 2-speed startup, user defined sleep modes and ultra-low power wakeup; resulting in increased battery life. The LED can be turned off for night play and the board incorporates a 2 position switch for tournament lock; controlling setup access and ROF.

Every board kit comes complete with a USB Cable, marker board, User’s Guide and a PC based CD-ROM containing the MarkerTalk applications. Once installed, the tray application (Launcher) automatically detects an attached marker and provides the user with up to 3 applications; Setup, Trainer and Analyzer.

The Setup program allows the user to configure all of the marker settings. The “Try” feature allows the user to test the operation of the marker while connected. Setup also supports multiple configuration files which enables you to save many configurations on your PC for different types of play. You can use the Setup program to test all your 9V batteries; as the real-time battery gauge let’s you know the percentage of battery life available. Whether you are changing trigger, eye, solenoid or battery settings the Setup program allows you to quickly and easily configure and tune your marker for optimum performance.

The Trainer program is designed to increase your trigger dexterity and to be used as a method for tuning the performance of your marker. When the game starts the shot dialog opens to show you real-time ROF being achieved. The dialog shows a count-down timer and the total number of shots fired. Challenge friends to a game of trigger dance and compare the results after each game is completed. When your friends are not around, turn on the voices and hope that you can avoid the insults. Just like “practice makes perfect” using Trainer helps you get there quicker!

Analyzer is currently the 3rd application in the MarkerTalk application suite. Analyzer installs from the included CD-ROM but it will not run unless an optional memory module is plugged into the board. The optional memory module is the first accessory to be released for the marker boards. The memory module allows the user to record marker board instructions (events) which can then be analyzed at a later time. The memory module adds additional erasable memory which is battery backed with an onboard rechargeable battery; which doesn’t need separate charging. The memory module is currently available in 3 different memory sizes; 128Kb, 256Kb, and 512Kb. The 128Kb module stores approximately 500 events with the 512Kb version storing approximately 2000 events. Analyzer is an invaluable tool for understanding and analyzing important game play information such as; paint usage, shot consistency, marker operation and team strategy.

Warboards offers a lifetime warranty on the boards and a 30-day money back guarantee on all retail online purchases. The company is currently accepting pre-orders on all offered products and expect to begin shipping before July 31, 2007. The MarkerTalk software is bundled with the marker boards and the kit has a suggested retail price of $149. The optional memory modules range from a retail price of $49 to $89.
