PAINTBALL IN JULY ON FOX SPORTS
NCPA

JT USA® College and High School Paintball National Championships
to Air on Fox College Sports throughout July

More than 500 Student-Athletes Competed in Championships

The JT USA® College Paintball National Championships, which featured a record 500 student-athletes and more than 45 teams, will air throughout the month of July on several Fox Sports digital networks.

Fox College Sports taped the championships, sanctioned by the National Collegiate Paintball Association, April 20 through 22 near Dallas. Three one-hour programs will air nationally on Fox College Sports Atlantic, internationally on Fox Sports International, and regionally on Fox Sports Midwest and Fox Sports Pittsburgh.

The coverage will encompass two semifinal matches - the University of Connecticut versus Purdue University and Penn State University versus the University of Tennessee, and the finals – which pitted Connecticut against Penn State. The action is intense and entertaining, with the three matches seeing a combined record for overtime points.

Play-by-play was done by professional paintballers Matty Marshall and Bea Youngs, and featured appearances by players from the world’s top-ranked and most popular professional team, Team Dynasty.

The airings are part of a three-year agreement that the National Collegiate Paintball Association announced in April with Fox College Sports to televise the NCPA
