Check-in: begins at 8:00am and continues all day.

Game begins at 9:30am EXACTLY.

Players arriving after start of game will be assigned a team and escorted to the deadbox for the next reinsertion.(every 10 minutes).

Break for lunch: from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. NOTE: Lunch will be available at the staging area, not the regular pro-shop. We will have Hot dogs chips and a drink for $2.50, in addition to our regular snacks,or you may bring your own goodies.

The Game ends at 5:00pm.

The Urban field and the 5-man speedball field will be open from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at no additional fee for participants.

This game will be played in the area between the three man speedball field (staging area) and the top of the hill(Mount Suribachi). It will incorporate the main battle during the fight for the Island of Iwo Jima (Operation Detachment). This scenario will use a limited amount of
playing field (18 - 25 acres).

The Japanese team will begin by controlling the entire combat area, except for the area in front and for 50 yards of the staging area.

The terrain is all natural forest, with the exception of some foxholes and few forts or strongholds.

The American forces will begin on the beach (in front of the staging area), and (as in the actual battle) will not incur any fire while beaching.

The objective of this exercise will be simple:
Americans: Raise the flag at the top of the hill (kinda like the picture).
Japanese: Don't allow the Americans to raise the flag at the top of the hill.

Once the flag is raised, we will take a 20 min recess, switch teams, and begin aging.

NOTE: The air, drinks, paint, and concessions will be located in the staging area for this event. We will check in at the proshop, but spend the entire event at the staging area.
