Paintball Sports Promotions 2007 World Cup

Hey! Looking for even more game time at this year's World Cup? Then register your team for D2 5-man today!

D2 5-man is the only 5-man division open to D1 or more than one D2 player. It is the only 5-man division open to players who are also playing Xball at World Cup.
Preliminaries will be played on Saturday with quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals to follow into Sunday. Entry fee for this division is $1500 and space is limited so make sure to register your team early!

Can I play Xball and D2 5-man?
Yes! D2 5-man is provided specifically to give Xball players an additional opportunity to compete at the World Cup after the conclusion of the Xball prelims and quarterfinals.

When does D2 5-man play?
D2 5-man will play Saturday afternoon starting at 1 PM, with playoffs on Sunday.

Do the D2 5-man and Xball schedules conflict?
The D2 5-man prelim schedule will not conflict with Xball. It is possible, although unlikely, that the D2 5-man playoffs could conflict with D2/D3 and Masters Xball Semi-Finals and Finals, but this is a problem you would love to have.

Are there prizes for D2 5-man?
Yes!
1st Place: $4,000
2nd Place: $2,000
3rd Place: $1,000
4th Place: $500

* 15-team minimum; pro-rated if less.

Will playing D2 5-man change my classification to D2?
No! To encourage Xball teams to take advantage of this opportunity, D2 5-man at the World Cup will be counted as a D3 5-man event for classification purposes, and will have no affect on the classification of any Xball player.

When can I sign up for D2 5-man?
Registration for D2 5-man will be open until all Saturday 5-man spots are filled, or through Friday, October 26th, whichever comes first. Teams may register online or, if spots are still available when the event starts, onsite at registration.

When will the D2 schedule be released?
Although prelims will start at 1 PM on Saturday, precise field and opponent schedules will not be released until after the close of registration on the evening of Friday, October 26th.
