FACE OFF AGAINST GREG HASTINGS
Tippmann

Paintball legend teams up with Tippmann Sports to host video game contest

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – Tippmann Sports will be hosting a Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball video game contest in its primary display area at the PSP World Cup in Orlando. The contest will be held on Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Contest participants will play each other on four large-screen televisions and those who advance will have an opportunity to square-off against Greg Hastings himself. A variety of special prizes, including Tippmann markers, accessories and clothing will be awarded. There is no fee to enter the contest and participation will be determined on a first come, first served basis. In addition to playing against a handful of participants, Hastings will serve as the event’s master-of-ceremonies and will be available during the contest to meet fans as well as sign posters and other memorabilia.

“This PS2 battle is going to be awesome – no doubt about it. I have to be on my game, ‘cause the kids have gotten so good at it,” Hastings recently said. “I appreciate the folks at Tippmann stepping up to host this family-friendly event. It’s the perfect opportunity for me to spend some time with the greatest paintball fans in the world. We’ll see some smiles on a lot of faces when the kids get a chance to beat me at my own game.”

Although the competition is scheduled for October 26 and 27, World Cup attendees will be able to stop by the Tippmann tent anytime to play Greg Hastings’ Tournament Paintball Max’d on Playstation® 2. A variety of Tippmann gear and accessories will also be showcased for those interested in learning more about the company and its latest products.

For more than 20 years, Tippmann Sports has been dedicated to quality manufacturing and the pursuit of cutting-edge technology and design. The company serves the paintball and airsoft industries from its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Tippmann Sports’ complete line of paintball markers and related accessories can be found at paintball stores and fields as well as mass retail and sporting goods outlets throughout the world.
