UMP MODS FOR X7 MARKER
Tippmann

New magazine and foregrip launched in response to high demand for additional X7 modifications.

Tippmann Sports, a leading manufacturer of high-performance paintball markers and related accessories, is introducing a new set of modifications for its groundbreaking X7 marker. The additions include a new magazine and foregrip, which can be coupled with the existing G36 folding stock, to give the basic X7 marker the appearance of "The UMP," which has become a popular option for a variety of law enforcement and military personnel around the globe. The new modifications are being launched following strong consumer response to the highly-customizable X7 and the full array of performance add-ons Tippmann introduced in conjunction with Special Ops Paintball in late 2006.

“Sales for X7 have been brisk, and – as the marker continues to grow in popularity – more and more players are seeking genuine Tippmann/S.O. mods to give their X7 a truly unique look,” said Patrick Ehren, vice president of sales and marketing for Tippmann Sports. “In all honesty, initial response to the X7 exceeded our expectations and we had to focus just to keep pace with demand. But, now we’re in the perfect position to expand the line and The UMP mods are the first of many exciting new looks that are on the horizon.”

The new UMP magazine is constructed from a high-impact composite and will carry an MSRP of $24.95. The foregrip, built of the same high-impact material, includes a built in sight and will be available for $44.95. Both products will be sold at leading paintball stores and fields beginning in December 2007.

Players will be able to view an X7 with UMP mods at the PSP World Cup in Orlando, October 24 through 28. For more details, please call Tippmann Sports at 1-800-533-4831. Additional company and product information can also be obtained online at tippmann.com .
