SPPL KICKS OFF SEASON IN GEORGIA
SPPL

The SPPL (Scenario Paintball Player’s League) starts the season on March 15 – 16, 2008 at the world-famous Low Country Paintball in Ludowici, Georgia. Low Country Paintball is home to Billy Smith’s Free Finale, LCP Scenario Games and the 2008 SPPL World Championship Finals.

Low Country Paintball offers plenty of room for camping, an onsite pro shop, running water, lots of shade, knowledgeable staff and exemplary customer service. The mix of unique terrain makes Low Country’s SPPL fields a player favorite.

Teams looking to hone their skills before the main event in March are invited to join LCP’s Black and Blue Crew for SPPL Practices every other Sunday, starting February 3.
“The team will be competing in the Elite Division in the Qualifier, so rookie teams won’t have to worry about competing against them,” says field owner Billy Smith. “But, we’re taking the knowledge we have gained over the last two years and teaching some of the newer teams how to play.”

The field offers free admission and discounted prices on DraXxuS paint for SPPL teams on these practice dates. “Players can try the format before they step into a tournament situation,” Smith says. “Teams can come up and practice on the same fields and shoot the same paint they’ll be shooting in the Georgia Qualifier and in the Finals. What better set up could you ask for?”

SPPL President Jayson Nielson is thrilled to kick off the season at Low Country. “Billy has given the SPPL so much support over the years, we’re proud to continue the tradition of starting the season in Georgia.”

Smith looks forward to a great turn-out at the year’s first event. “It’s prime time for teams to get involved in the SPPL,” he says. “Teams are seeing that this is the league where they can get noticed, travel the world, and be somebody in paintball!”

The SPPL starts a month earlier this year to accommodate nine Major Qualifier Events and the Championship Finals, so get your Player ID cards now!
