Information You Need to Know Before Huntington Beach

Tech Tents
With plenty of sponsors and manufacturers still signing up, all paintball manufacturers will have the opportunity to set up a Tech Tent in the Player Paddocks area, whether they sponsor the league or not. This is to ensure each and every team is able to be supported by their sponsors and have the tools and resources needed to compete at the highest level. If your sponsor has yet to sign up, please encourage them to do so or to contact the league regarding a tech tent.

Wednesday Registration
Of course the most popular paintball event in the world has thousands of players who need to check their teams in. In order to provide the highest level of customer service and give teams ample opportunities to avoid long lines, the league will be opening registration 2 days before the event. On Wednesday, March 26th, players can check-in at the registration tent on-site from 1 pm – 6pm. On Thursday, March 27th , players can check-in on-site from 9 am – 6 pm. Professional players may continue to check-in on-site Friday, March 29th.

Team Packs
At check-in, your team captain will receive a Team Pack filled with goodies from the league’s sponsors, as well as important event information including rule changes, a schedule of games, your team draw, parking passes and much more. The entire team does not need to be present to collect the team pack, but each player must check-in personally to receive his/her wristbands and ID card.

Captains Meeting
The Captains Meeting for Semi Pro, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 captains will be held on the Center Court Grandstands Thursday at 5:00 pm. This brief meeting will cover new rules as well as important information each player will need to know before competing in the event.

Parking – NEW for 2008
There are various different parking options for players and fans coming to the Huntington Beach event March 27 – 29. Each team will receive multiple parking passes for the weekend that are each only good for ONE ENTRY to the parking lot. The passes do not grant re-entry and will be collected by the parking guard at entry. Should a team need additional parking, there are two parking garages located just off of main street. More information can be found in the Team Pack or at the NPPL Information Booth.
