Registration for the first 2008 Spyder Cup event is now open! Teams wanting to compete in the Las Vegas event, held along with the XPSL Las Vegas event, must register their team through www.XPSL.com or by calling the XPSL at (909) 230 4393.

The Las Vegas event is one of seven regional paintball events Spyder is holding where amateur 3-man teams will compete in a center flag format.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 4 teams at each regional event, and the winning team from each of these seven events will be awarded an all expenses paid trip to the Spyder Cup Grand Finale hosted at the NPPL World Championships in San Diego November 14-16, 2008*. These seven 3-man teams will compete for three brand new MAZDA3 hatchbacks! An additional $10,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top placing teams at the regional events.

Spyder Cup 2008 Player Qualifications:
No Professional, Semi-Professional, Open, Division 1 or Division 2 class players will be allowed to participate in any Spyder Cup event during the 2008 season. This means that any player who has competed in any of theses divisions during the past three (3) years (2005, 2006, or 2007), in the NPPL, PSP, NXL, or Millennium series, shall be considered disqualified from all 2008 Spyder Cup events. This rule will be strictly enforced by immediate team disqualification. No refunds will be given to any disqualified team.

XPSL
Teams may play in both XPSL and Spyder Cup events that fall on the same day, as long as they meet Spyder Cup Qualifications.

The Spyder Cup is an amateur level 3-man paintball tournament where teams compete using Spyder brand paintball markers. In the past 8 years Spyder has awarded 15 cars and $1000’s in prizes through the Spyder Cup Tournament. For more information on Spyder visit www.Spyder.tv.
