TRI STATE WINS MVP AT EVENT
TSSOC

Tri-State wins an MVP at Battle for Mt. Samat, PocoLoco Paintball!

Heavy snow fell on the morning of March 22nd at PocoLoco Paintball in Eagleville, PA. Despite the weather, teams like Tri-State Special Operations Command, Ambush Alpha, Cursed Company, 13th Legionnaires, House Solstice, RT Raiders, PA Brew Crew, Red Raiders, Team STC, MBP Militia, Team Logos, Deception of Truth, and many others came out to support Ambush Alpha's "Battle of Mt. Samat" game produced by Brian "Rephy" Reph.

Unique in format, the field was broken down into sections and players played four quarters, advancing to a new section of the field with new missions and flag locations each quarter. This year had the Japanese starting at the bottom of the hill fighting up steep, rocky terrain to gain ground on the Americans. Generalling for the American forces was CamoCannon from the 13th Legionnaires and his XO was Nyxx of House Solstice. The Japanese were led by TomCat from Ambush Alpha and Chosen from Cursed Company.

Outnumbered, many Japanese players resorted to daring runs to flip flags - some opting to leave their markers behind so they could move faster through the woods amongst heavy enemy fire. TSSOC spent most of the day battling fiercely on the front line and completed the missions as assigned. Late in the game the Japanese forces with TSSOC launched a strong offensive and proceeded to make a effective push up the right side of the hill until ordered to halt and hold their ground.

The American forces took the victory for the game. At the end of the day, TSSOC's own DeathX was awarded Most Valuable Player for his relentless efforts on the field!

Tri-State Special Operations Command upcoming games will NJ Nam 08 in Pittsgrove, NJ on June 7 and 8, Invasion of Normandy at Skirmish on July 12 and 13, San Juan Hill at SplatBrothers on July 12 and 13 in Hopewell, VA, and the New York SPPL qualifier at Cousin's in Plattekill, NY on July 26 and 27.
