Capital Offense
For the second year in a row, Team Capital Offense, walked away with another Most Valuable Player award at Skirmish’s ION 08. At ION 07, Team Captain, David C. Thompson won MVP at the world’s largest game (over 4000 people). This year, that honor was bestowed to Kent “XMAN” Jones of Team Capital Offense and Team Boxer. XMAN, along with Boxer Captain, Wendell “Runaway” Mac and Dave “Seoulbro” Kwon, served as the Allied Forces’ Tactical Operations Center (TOC); effectively running all radio communications between the 10 companies of approx 150 players. Their duty was difficult as it entailed the organization and shifting of 1500 players around the field over a 24 hour timeframe. While the rest of Capital Offense was outside having fun shooting people, Xman, Runaway and Seoulbro were inside the command tent doing the gritty work, which they always excel at.
