Jeorge Rovira talks about the growth of paintball in El Salvidor - April 1996

My name is Jorge Rovira and I live in the Central American country of El Salvador. Last year the first outdoor field of paintball was opened here in the capital city of San Salvador. It was great! Many people started attending every weekend to the field and played their hearts out. I became a very big fan of the sport and became good at it too. First, we used to play with some v68 semi-automatic from Sheridan but now the sport has become so popular that we even have distributors of other paintguns like the MiniMag, the Mini Cocker, AutoMag,Mirage, and even Spyder. Well , two more outdoor fields were opened last summer and we now have an indoor field or "court" too. I own a Mirage gun and I'm very pleased with it. In fact, I have participated in two tournaments now and our team has been champion twice now. Well, I think this is all I have to say but I think it would be nice for you guys to know how our favorite sport is affecting every person in the world.
