NPPL, Inc. Announces First Super 7 Teams

In a release dated February 3, 2003, NPPL, Inc. announced the teams scheduled to compete at the first of the league's Super 7 tournaments in Huntington Beach, California.

The event will run from Friday through Sunday, on the edge of the Pacific Ocean with numerous new event sponsors from outside the paintball industry, and fields designed for spectating by many tourists visiting the area.

The list contains some new names, as well as old names in new classifications.  Notably in the pro classification, league division following World Cup has opened up room for teams to move up and be competitive.  Avalanche and Dynasty have long been in the upper eschelon of pro teams, and will be playing Super 7 - Avalanche having a changed lineup following 'cup.  Bad Company, Rage, Lockout, and the Ton Ton Flingeurs from France, haven't lead the pro rankings recently but are teams with long track records and are all now in stronger positions.  The new blood in the pro classification includes Naughty Dogs who have regularly defeated pros while they played as amateurs, Brass Eagle Allstars and Bushwackers International  moving up from Am.  New teams on the scene include the recently formed Wone Concepts Factory Team, Redz Factory Team, MI, and Nexus from England, with experienced pro players in their rosters.
